Stop Complaining about Apple and the App StoreSeptember 27
Dan Kimerling via TechCrunch shared by 5 people

This week there have been several stories on the blogsphere (here, here, and here, for example) which consist of developers complaining that Apple has rejected an iPhone application that they submitted to be part of the App Store in iTunes, or because they believe that the process for submitting an application is too cumbersome. At least two of these have been because Apple believes the applications would be competitive with a product or feature set that Apple already has in the iPhone. This has, in turn, devolved into a chorus of voices (Ryan Block for example) exclaiming the virtues of openness and transparency, along with opining on the evils of Apple’s terms of service for iPhone developers. To all those who are annoyed at Apple here is what I have to say to you

Last.fm Delivers a Much Improved iPhone Application With Version 2.0September 27
Paul Glazowski via Mashable! shared by 5 people

Just over two months ago, Last.fm launched its first application for iPhone and iPod touch devices. And a whole lot of people enjoyed it then. Forward to the present day, and the company is officially taking the wraps off version 2.0 [iTunes URL].

Corvida via ReadWriteWeb shared by 17 people

pandora_logo.png Lately it seems that all the publicity in the world won't do Pandora any good. Just last month Pandora's founder, Tim Westergren, talked about making a "pull-the-plug kind of decision" for the service. "The moment we think this problem in Washington is not going to get solved, we have to pull the plug because all we're doing is wasting money," Westergren stated.

For those that don't know, Pandora has been facing closure due to being hit with outrageously ridiculous fees by a federal panel. Now Westergren is sending a plea to listeners of Pandora for their support.

Emergency: Calling All Pandora Listeners

Yesterday Westergren posted his "call of arms" to the Pandora blog:

"After a yearlong negotiation, Pandora, artists and record companies are finally optimistic about reaching an agreement on royalties that would save Pandora and Internet radio. But just as we've gotten close, large traditi

10. Make your own energy products.

energy_drink.jpgIf you're going to resort to a brick of grains and protein to give you short-term "power" or "energy," you may as well have it be cheap—and tastier than those foil-wrapped roofing tiles. Same goes for re-hydrating drinks, which, as the Yaniverse blog shows,
